Digital radiographs have changed the way dental practices take X-rays. Their ability to quickly produce scans, results in less exposure to radiation for our patients and almost instantaneous pictures for our dental team. They also provide more detail than their traditional, film-based ancestors, meaning you’ll experience less waiting and faster treatment.
We provide an ADA approved professional at-home bleaching kit. Ask about teeth whitening today!
Root canals become necessary when the nerve tissue inside the tooth becomes damaged. The procedure calls for removing the soft tissue – or pulp – within the tooth. Next, we gently file the infected and inflamed tissue out of the root canals of the tooth. The void, or space, that is created is then filled in with an inert material and completed with the placement of a filling, or in some instances, a crown. We know most cringe when they hear about this procedure, but it is virtually painless.
At the first appointment, the infected nerve tissue is removed and the tooth is dressed. to prevent any further infection. The restored tooth could possibly last a lifetime if you continue to care for your teeth and gums. However, regular checkups are still necessary.
Dental Implant Restoration is needed when teeth are missing or unable to support and retain a dental prosthesis, like a crown or dentures. Dental Implants are commonly used to restore a smile.
Gingivitis is the most common form of periodontal disease. It affects the gums causing irritation, redness and inflammation just at the base of the teeth. If not treated, the infection can spread past the gums affecting the structures around the teeth known as the periodontal ligaments and the alveolar bone, causing tooth loss.
